Back in mid-'23, there was a rumour about Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 remake, which is quite unlikely. What triggered rumour was Cross' actor quickly deleting a post saying he will return to NFS. It could be Burnout, the franchise was terminated at its peak, and Stellar has worked on all of Criterion's 7th gen+ games besides MW2012.

In my opinion a good Need For Speed game is : From the old school era: NFS 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 From the PS2 era: Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted Then after that, many NFS fans agree that EA had lost their way, and mostly none of the new NFS games are in the same style as those old ones, and not really good to play.

Member. Jul 11, 2014. #7. 2012 Most Wanted was a disservice to both NFS fans and Burnout fans. It basically shat on the idea of what MW 2005 was, while at the same time managing to be a halfassed Burnout Paradise. Criterion you can do better and we deserved better.
